How to judge a Golden Retriever’s temperament?

Owners can squat down and clap gently to call the Golden Retriever over. If it runs to you happily, it is friendly and warm. If its tail is lowered and it approaches slowly and cautiously, it is somewhat timid. Next, pet the dog continuously or observe its reaction during a body check; if it shows no impatience, it has good tolerance, while a dog that struggles to get away has a worse temper.

Finally, use food or a toy to attract its attention. If it shows no reaction, it is introverted; if its reaction is overly intense, it is more dominant.
