When a mother’s milk is low, feed watery, nutritious foods like goat-milk formula, crucian carp soup, chicken soup, pig-foot soup and bone broth; switch her main diet to lactation or puppy food and add chicken breast, egg yolk, liver and beef. A little vitamin E (tocopherol) also boosts milk; if supply stays low, see a vet to check genetics and use formula to hand-feed the pups.
