How to help a turtle adapt to its environment?

First, create a warm, dry, comfortable habitat with enough space, food, and water, where the turtle can move freely. Second, for aquatic turtles, change water and clean the tank often to keep it clean, holding the temperature above 20 C but below 30 C. Finally, turtles need sunlight to make vitamin D for healthy bones and shell; if kept indoors, provide a UV lamp as a substitute.
