There are several ways; for tablets, crush into powder and mix with a churu or canned food so the cat eats it with the food.

Or wrap the cat in a blanket, wear gloves, place the pill at the tongue base, close the mouth and stroke the neck downward to help it swallow.

For bitter liquid, use a syringe to open the mouth from the side and inject into the gum space slowly so it is not choked.

Afterward lift the cat’s head to help it swallow the liquid.
