How to feed a myna well?

Myna chicks are generally fed myna powder mixed with warm water into a paste and given with a small bamboo spoon, 5-8 times a day. Adult mynas are mainly fed egg-rice; the owner can also buy ready-made feed or chicken feed and add shrimp meat and silkworm pupae for protein.

In spring the myna enters breeding season and needs some fruits and vegetables to aid digestion; in autumn feed more peanuts and meat for fat to help it through winter.
