How to choose a Corgi?

When choosing a Corgi puppy, first look at its build. A purebred Corgi should not have overly long legs, but its limbs should be sturdy with round paws and ample bone, and its body should be well proportioned.

Next, observe the Corgi’s mental state; if it reacts sluggishly, has poor appetite, or shows tear stains, bad breath or dirty fur around the anus, it may be sick and should be chosen with caution. Also check the coat: a purebred Corgi has smooth, dense, textured fur in two or three colors.

Finally, examine the facial features. A Corgi’s eyes are oval and match the coat color, its ears are large, round and triangular overall, its nose is black, and its muzzle is moderate, not too thin or long.
