How strong is the Afghan Hound’s fighting ability?

The Afghan Hound has strong combat ability: it is large, agile, fast, and has great endurance and sustained chasing power, making it excellent at tracking and hunting. With long-term training, such dogs can typically perform many tasks such as herding, hunting, search and rescue, and guarding.

However, if ‘combat ability’ refers to fighting prowess, the Afghan Hound may not match some dedicated fighting breeds such as mastiffs, Pit Bulls, and Kangal dogs.
