Neutering generally does not affect external deworming. If a drip-type external deworming product is used and the dog shows no serious discomfort after neutering, external deworming can be performed.

But for internal deworming, it is best to wait two weeks after the surgery. Because the dog’s wound has not healed and its resistance is weak right after neutering, internal deworming at that time can make it weaker and trigger disease. Therefore, deworm only after the wound heals and resistance recovers.
