A Teddy can be bathed only about a month after delivery. Resistance drops after birth, and bathing then easily causes colds or bacterial infection, which not only affects the Teddy’s health but also interrupts nursing the pups, so bathe it after lactation ends.

If the Teddy develops a strong body odor or gets dirty during lactation, wipe it down simply with a warm, damp towel. During this period, provide enough nutrition to aid recovery.
