Expert Answer
The Greyhound’s intelligence is not especially high, ranking 46th among dogs and generally below Border Collies or Goldens in learning. With more training time, however, it can learn many basic skills and become a fine guard, companion, or working dog. Its hunting talent is very high; it quickly identifies and tracks small prey and adapts well to complex environments, becoming an excellent hunting dog after professional training.
