The American Bully is a very intelligent and energetic breed, ranking 37th in worldwide dog intelligence—roughly equivalent to a 4-year-old child. During training they quickly learn and understand simple commands and movements, making them easy to train and manage.

They also have a stable temperament and are very loyal to their owners. They won’t bite unprovoked, but when the owner is in danger they will step in to protect them right away.

Finally, the American Bully has thick limbs and solid muscle, with strong explosive power and endurance, so it needs enough exercise to burn off its energy.
