Cat food should be fed according to the cat’s age group. For kittens under one year, kitten food is needed; for cats over one year, adult cat food should be fed. A 2–3 month-old kitten has an underdeveloped intestinal tract and poor digestion, so the kibble should be softened with goat milk formula or warm water before feeding. Feed small amounts frequently, at least 4–5 times a day, to avoid indigestion. After a kitten reaches three months of age, dry kitten food can be fed directly, 3–4 times a day; as the cat grows older, feeding frequency can gradually be reduced, and adult cats only need to be fed twice a day.
