Generally change cat litter every 1 to 2 weeks. After each use the litter in contact with feces clumps, so scoop the clumps daily and do a full change every 1 to 2 weeks. Even with daily cleaning, some odor and bacteria remain in the box, so to avoid infection from bacterial growth, periodically replace all litter and clean and disinfect the box.
