How often should a Teddy’s paw hair be trimmed?

Expert Answer

There is no fixed cycle for trimming a Teddy’s paw hair; just avoid letting it grow too long, generally every 2 months. Overlong paw hair breeds bacteria and raises the risk of interdigital dermatitis, and affects walking and causes slips and falls. Trim regularly and keep the paw hair clean and dry to avoid disease.
