Neon tetras breed at a low frequency, only a few times a year and sometimes just once. They can breed at 6 months, but 8 to 12 months is strongest with the best eggs, so choose that age as parents.
To breed them, prepare a spawning tank and during breeding keep good water at about 25 C.
