Expert Answer

A Cane Corso has a certain level of obedience but is not among the most docile and well-behaved dogs. A Cane Corso raised from puppyhood usually has higher obedience and will actively complete tasks after the owner gives a command. But the breed is highly intelligent; as an adult it develops its own judgment, has a strong desire to dominate, and a very stubborn character.

If the owner is too strict and often uses violence in training, the dog may become very cold toward the owner and, when provoked, may even attack.
