How much is a pet otter?

A pet otter usually costs 2,000 to 3,000 yuan each; a better-looking otter may reach about 5,000 yuan. Otters are semi-aquatic and like to live at the edges of coastal waters; they eat small fish and shrimp, so if feeding them yourself, choose fresh frogs or small fish.

Note that although otters look cute and silly, they have a fierce temperament. Captive otters generally will not bite, but owners should still be careful.
