How long until dehydration kills a dog?

A dog in continuous dehydration for over a day is at life risk. Severe dehydration lowers skin elasticity and appetite and causes electrolyte imbalance that can kill quickly without fluids.

For mild dehydration give diluted glucose water; for severe signs go to a vet for fluids and to find and treat the underlying cause, since water alone is slow.
