How long does it take to treat cat jaundice?

There is no fixed timeframe for curing feline jaundice, as it depends on the underlying cause, severity and treatment effect. Some cats recover in half a month, while others need a month or longer. Early treatment is crucial because the sooner it begins, the faster the cat recovers.

Jaundice is very visible: the mouth, eyes and abdomen turn yellow, and in severe cases the cat may vomit, have diarrhea and become lethargic. If these signs appear, take the cat to a veterinary hospital promptly.
