A Pomeranian’s puppy-coat change lasts about 5 months, while normal seasonal shedding lasts 1 to 2 months. They experience two seasonal sheds each year, in spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November). During shedding they lose a lot of fur, so brush often, clean it up promptly, and add nutrition and lecithin to speed new growth and improve coat quality.
