How long do Chihuahuas usually live?

Chihuahuas generally live 12-15 years, and with scientific care they can live even longer. As a small breed with a modest appetite, they should be fed small amounts frequently, preferably high-quality natural dog food, avoiding cold, raw, or greasy food. Chihuahuas are sensitive to cold, so the owner should keep them warm and add clothing when needed. They need little exercise but still require some activity to build their constitution.
