How long can an old Teddy live after losing its teeth?

After a Teddy grows old and loses its teeth, it can generally live another 2-3 years, and with careful feeding and care it may even live 5-6 more years. The average lifespan of a Teddy is 10-15 years, and usually from about age 10 its teeth gradually begin to loosen and fall out.

If a Teddy loses its teeth, pay more attention to daily diet and feed it light, easily digestible food. It is recommended to switch its kibble to senior-dog formula, then soak it in warm water until soft before feeding, so the dog can digest it normally. But also mind oral hygiene, and avoid bacteria growing from leftover wet food in the mouth that could cause stomatitis.
