It is best to wait about one month after a Teddy gives birth before taking it outside. A newly delivered Teddy is weak with lowered resistance, and going outside then makes it easy to get sick.

Also, a Teddy needs to nurse its puppies for about a month; falling ill during this period would affect feeding the puppies. Therefore, owners are advised to wait until one month after delivery, when the nursing period ends, before taking it out, by which time the Teddy’s body has largely recovered.
