How long after contractions does a cat deliver?

Normally a cat delivers within half an hour to three hours after contractions start. If none by three hours, suspect dystocia and take it to a vet, with a C-section if needed. Smaller cats are more prone to difficult labor, so watch closely. The cat may weaken during delivery; prepare glucose water to replenish energy.
