How long after birth do Huskies open their eyes?

Huskies generally begin opening their eyes about 10 days after birth. They are born with eyes closed, and before opening them the owner should watch them closely, since they cannot see direction well and have poor hearing. Prevent them from crawling out of the whelping area or being crushed by the mother. If a pup crawls out, return it to the mother promptly, and give extra care to weaker pups by placing them closer to the mother’s teats.
