How is the German Shepherd with children?

German Shepherds are usually friendly and patient with children. Because they are highly intelligent, they read the other’s expression, movement, voice and smell to judge whether there is aggression, so they are generally not very aggressive toward the elderly and children, and rarely attack unless a child overly disturbs, provokes or teases them.

However, every dog’s temperament differs; to ensure it does not over-attack, give it obedience and socialization training in time.
