A black Labrador is no different from other colors except that this coat is less common than yellow, so it is a matter of taste. Labradors are gentle and highly intelligent; as puppies they may be mischievous and chew things, but adults become calm, affectionate, loyal and fairly easy to train. Black also hides dirt, so the dog needs fewer baths and looks more imposing and strong.
