How is lice on a cat treated?

Isolate a cat with lice promptly to prevent the lice and eggs from spreading around the home, which could infest you or cause reinfection. For kittens under 2 months, avoid deworming medication; take the cat to an open area and manually remove lice with a comb, then treat its living environment.

For cats over 2 months, combine external deworming with environmental deworming. If parasites are heavy, repeat every 15 days until no lice remain on the cat.
