How is a guide dog trained?

Guide dogs usually start training at 1 to 1.5 years, when their character is stable and their acceptance and response to new things are good. Generally they are trained by professional instructors who give targeted training for problems blind people face. For example, the trainer brings the dog to stairs, then taps the stair to make it stop and step sideways in front, and through repeated training ensures the dog protects its blind partner before living and training together; if they cooperate well, the dog can officially go to work.
