How does a Labrador show a cough?

A coughing Labrador makes a ‘ka-ka’ sound, maybe with retching, like something stuck in the throat. The cough may be bacterial or mycoplasma upper respiratory infection, treated with pet-specific cough and anti-inflammatory medicine.
