How do you train a Schnauzer?

For Schnauzer training: first, use short, clearly pronounced commands so the dog understands and remembers. Second, praise and pet it appropriately — when it behaves well, give rewards and approval to help it remember and form a conditioned response.

When it errs, stop it firmly but don’t hit or scold harshly, or you’ll only harm your bond. Also be patient; a Schnauzer builds memory through continuous training.
