To train a puppy to sit, first prepare some treats or toys the dog likes as rewards, then choose a quiet, spacious place for training to avoid distractions. Second, hold the treat or toy in front of the dog and move it up and down to attract attention; when the food is lifted, the dog’s head will naturally rise, and at that moment we can gently press its hindquarters with the other hand and say the “sit” command. When the dog sits down, immediately give it a treat; after repeated training for a while, the dog will sit automatically upon hearing the command.
