Normal puppy stool is yellow-brown, formed but soft. If the stool is still formed but has excess water and sticks to the floor, that is soft stool; if it is paste-like or watery, it counts as diarrhea. Puppy diarrhea may be caused by lactose intolerance, indigestion, parasites or infectious disease, so the owner must not give milk.

If the diarrhea is not severe, first feed appropriate pet probiotics to regulate the gut; if severe, take it to a pet hospital promptly to determine the cause before medication.
