When a cat is sick it usually shows clear signs, such as a dry nose, more eye or nasal discharge, abnormal defecation or urination, heavy breathing, lethargy, abnormal temperature, hair loss, more ear discharge, and a strong ear odor. If the cat has diarrhea, its anus may be red and swollen with dirty fur around it.
Also, male cats are more prone to urinary tract disease. If your cat shows frequent urination, little urine, painful urination, or blood in the urine, take it to a veterinary hospital promptly.
