How can you make a bird obedient?

When choosing a bird, buy one that is young, because a bird raised from a young age depends more on its owner and becomes more affectionate and obedient. Feed it often, and in your free time offer food from your hand so it learns you are not a threat and grows to trust and like you.

After it becomes familiar, close the windows and doors and let the bird out of its cage, then use food to hold its attention and get it used to staying by your side. If it misbehaves, stop it promptly and give a firm ‘no’ command; over time the bird will become increasingly obedient.
