How can I stop my Teddy (Poodle) from mounting?

Teddy dogs are lively and curious; without enough exercise and mental stimulation they become overactive and mount. To reduce mounting, take the dog out to play often to burn energy. At home, play games like tug-of-war and fetch, and provide interesting toys such as chew sticks and sniffing mats. Also do simple training: when it mounts, give a firm ‘off’ command; if it doesn’t get down, push it down sternly; when it complies, reward with a treat.
