How big do guppy fish get?

Guppies generally grow only to 4 to 5 cm. Adult male guppies are mostly slim and small, about 3 to 4 cm, at most 5 cm. Female guppies are relatively larger, usually around 5 cm, with a maximum of 8 cm. A guppy’s size relates to its nutrition; with proper daily care and a good environment, guppies usually grow bigger. Because guppies are relatively small, they should not be mixed with large fish that might eat them; keep them with other small fish, but with similar temperaments.
