Eight-Month Kitten Vomiting Yellow Fluid and Not Eating for Over a Day

A cat vomiting yellow fluid may have several causes: 1) internal parasites in large numbers causing gut discomfort; 2) if unvaccinated, panleukopenia with anorexia, hemorrhagic enteritis, and dehydration; 3) pancreatitis, whose classic signs are abdominal pain and yellow vomit; 4) hairballs or swallowed foreign objects; 5) acute gastroenteritis from bad diet, chills, wrong food, or stress causing frequent yellow vomit. If vomiting occurs, fast and withhold water for half a day, then give an anti-vomiting tablet, and if energy and appetite are fine after, it is usually minor; if vomiting continues with lethargy and poor appetite, see a vet promptly.
