Rabbits do not need baths, because they fear water and bathing can scare them; a rabbit with weak immunity may catch a chill and catch cold after a bath. Also, rabbits are clean animals and lick their own fur daily to groom themselves, so they are usually clean and do not need baths.

If a rabbit gets something dirty on it, wipe it clean with a cotton swab or towel. If it accidentally gets dirty enough to need a bath, use pet bath sand for a dry wash; if water is needed, be gentle and dry the fur thoroughly afterward to avoid the rabbit catching cold.
