Do rabbits bond with their owners?

A rabbit that lives with its owner long enough does develop feelings. Rabbits are sensitive; with enough care and security they relax, stop resisting, and may even stick close. When they like you, they come over and gently sniff your hand with their nose. But rabbits are not highly intelligent – if the owner changes, they usually won’t feel sad the way cats and dogs do.
