Do Corgis have a strong body odor?

Corgis do not have a strong body odor; you only smell a slight scent when you get very close to them. However, if a Corgi goes a long time without a bath, or has skin disease, oral disease and so on, it may give off a fairly strong unpleasant odor. So when keeping a Corgi, bathe it regularly; because its coat is quite thick, dry it promptly and thoroughly after washing to prevent bacteria from growing and causing skin disease.

In addition, brush the Corgi’s teeth regularly to avoid oral problems such as mouth ulcers or tartar that produce a foul smell.
