Day two: cat’s eye won’t open, tearing, no more bleeding

After a cat’s eye is injured by a foreign body and bleeds, first fit a suitable Elizabethan collar to prevent rubbing and rubbing during healing. Use a safe pet anti-inflammatory eye drop 5-6 times daily; if using ointment, apply small and frequent amounts to avoid irritation.

Also give oral pet antibiotics like amoxicillin to control wound infection and inflammation. Lately keep the cat from dirty environments and outings; rest at home to avoid secondary infection.
