Cat Suddenly Went Crazy Biting People

A cat suddenly biting frantically may be in heat, emotionally unstable, stressed, or rabies-infected. Most cats in heat have strong territorial drive and, with hormones, become unstable, irritable, and prone to scratching and biting. Also, the cat may be stimulated by some sound or object into defensive aggression and bite when the owner is off guard. Finally, if it also fears water and light, drools, and is violent, watch for rabies; this is rare in house cats but still worth ruling out at a clinic.
