Can dogs eat egg tarts?

Dogs should not eat egg tarts. First, egg tarts are a high-sugar food, and dogs have a low requirement for sugar and cannot metabolize excess amounts. Eating egg tarts therefore increases the burden on the kidneys, and frequent feeding easily leads to obesity and may cause high blood lipids and heart problems.

Second, egg tarts contain some cream, which can trigger pancreatitis in dogs and disrupt their normal metabolism. Finally, some egg tarts contain added raisins, which can poison dogs and even lead to kidney failure.
