At What Age Does a Japanese Flying Squirrel Reach Adulthood?

The Japanese flying squirrel, also called the Japanese small flying squirrel, reaches adulthood around 10 months, weighing 100 to 150 g with an ideal body length near 15 cm and tail about 13 cm. In good conditions they live 10 to 15 years.

In poor conditions they can die after three days without food, so in captivity feed them on a schedule with grains, nuts, insects, and vegetables or fruit.
