Rabbits can be sexed after one month, but beginners find it hard then; at 3 months it is easier because male testicles develop and can be felt, and if none are felt the rabbit is female.

Also distinguish by genital shape and distance from the anus: males are farther with an O shaped organ, while females are closer with a Y or V shaped organ.
