At what age can a Teddy (Poodle) learn to sit?

You can start training a Teddy to sit on command at about 2-3 months. When training, give the verbal cue ‘sit’ along with a hand gesture.

At first the puppy may not understand, so guide it gently into a sitting position. Patience is key.

Then repeat the training. Once the Teddy sits on its own, reward it promptly with praise or a treat.

After it learns the cue, use it now and then so the response becomes a conditioned reflex. Regular practice keeps it sharp.
