At how many months can a female cat become pregnant?

It is generally recommended to wait until a female cat is over 12 months old before allowing her to become pregnant. Female cats usually begin to go into heat around 6 months of age and become capable of conception, but early pregnancy is not advised, because a cat’s body functions only fully mature after one year of age.
