Rabbits are afraid of heat, because their dense fur and lack of skin sweat glands make it hard to cool through the skin. So keep the environment from getting too hot. In hot weather improve hutch ventilation and increase water intake; if needed, put ice or a fan in the hutch to cool it and prevent heatstroke from high temperatures.

Actually rabbits fear both heat and cold; their ideal temperature is 15 to 25°C. Adjust cooling or warming with the weather.
