Are Huskies really stupid?

Huskies are not actually stupid. Among 79 dog breeds, the Husky ranks 45th in intelligence — roughly middle of the pack. They seem silly because their personality is more lively and energetic than other dogs, so they often do things that look foolish. In fact, Huskies are quite smart; their poor obedience is actually because they’re too clever and capable of independent thought, so like naughty children they deliberately ignore their owner’s commands.
